The end of the parade is always the biggest float occupied by Paul Oscar, an Icelandic gay pop icon, who's coming out in the 90s, per my neighbor at the parade, helped reduce anti-queer stigma.
Had the good fortune of randomly planning this trip over Reykjavik's Pride festival, and today's parade was a blast.
I have the great fortune of having a gracious friend and his extended family share their living space with us while we're in Iceland. The tremendous view from their apartment in Reykjavik. It's rained the whole time so far, but it's been tremendous even so.
Yesterday I was gassing up in Two Harbors on the way home, and this Merlin (according to the Merlin app) brought this pigeon to ground at my feet next to the pump. Proceeded to drag it around and onto various vehicles before finishing it off behind the propane tanks.

Trying the food at WSP's new Ethiopian spot Gebeta to catch Croatia vs Portugal. The Ethiopian coffee is tremendous, and so are the portions.
Randomly stopped at Milk and Honey Cider and the North Table in St Joseph on the way back from camping, right off I94. Kitchen is fully GF. Food was so damn good. NA cider was delicious and got some alcoholic bottles for the road. 👨🍳💋👌

Saw the first 7 goals of the @mnaurorafc.bsky.social match vs Rally Madison, but had to leave when the stadium lightning alarm went off and play stopped with a bit over 10 minutes left. Quite a view as we drove away from TCO though!
