You couldn't make a glove with a d12 either. Also when you use Roman era yarns, there isn't elegancy on the work. But here is a finger knitted with yarn suitable for Roman era and about 10cm high d12. That's not practical work. And, there are no known yarn made gloves from Roman era.
I painted the Gallo-Roman dodecahedrons, which I had printed last fall. Acrylic paints from Lidl, Army Painter Matt Varnish.

150g 3-ply yarn, about half carded and another half combed random fibres, dyed just over a year ago.
A toddler hat in leftover Viking of Norway Balder, 6mm needles, with dryness corrected weight, this is around 75g. (The two pieces I have made out of the 200g of yarn weight 185g, and full ball of same yarn weights 93g.)
A hat in Åsle weaver (ÅS 3 M1rtl). I believe the yarn is Vuonue Unelma, I used the whole 100g skein.

And since I had the halfen hour to spare, I started the piece number 7. Managed to work all 14g of it (it should weight about 90g when done, if as similar as pattern sounds like to piece 3). Bringing the total of the Easter knitting to 2641,6m or 1016g.
Piece number 6 was finished about 30 minutes to spare for the marathon. It took 317g, which translates into 824,2m. Combined usage 2605,2m, or 1002g of 6-ply yarns.
The monster of a piece (also known as 5) is done. It took 284g of various 6-ply leftovers, I believe some of which I have inherited even. Combined usage 1781m
