Terry McGinnis
@neo-batman
“Every time I put on that suit, it’s my chance to help people who are in trouble. It’s my chance to look like a worthwhile human being. Sometimes I ask myself if Batman is just the suit or the man inside. Time to find out”
“It gets harder and harder to explain away the scars. You can have the best gadgets around, but the bad guys can still hit you hard.”
// Speaking of schway, I’ve been thinking of this. Spoilers for Superman / Spider-Man
……I remember this Winn guy being different. …maybe that timeline was averted. Thank god. This tiny version of him creeps me out.
// The NEO BATSUIT is a state-of-the-art Batsuit originally developed as a prototype battlesuit by WayneTech & the military. The project was eventually abandoned, but WayneTech continued to work on it in secret, modifying into a bat suit. However, it would be decades before the suit would be ready
// Much like his father, Terry was a big fan of The Grey Ghost. Simon Trent, the original actor who played the character, became a drama teacher at Gotham Academy and taught Warren McGinnis, whom became a big fan.
I missed a #SeductiveSunday or two in the past. …I may have been otherwise occupied.

// Bruce also deduced that Jake Chill was the true murderer of Warren McGinnis and was previously employed by Wayne-Powers. He also kept this a secret. Jake Chill took up the mantle of Vigilante and fought alongside Terry until one day, after an encounter with Phantasm, the truth was revealed.
“…I love you dad. You’re the reason why I keep fighting. You’re the reason for every sacrifice I make.”
“…Sometimes I think what my life would be like if I hadn’t been chased by the Jokerz that day. …would I end up being a bad kid? One in the hundreds of dregs on the streets? …would I have been able to save my dad? Maybe have…one last conversation that wasn’t a fight?”
// Before Project Batman Beyond, Waller had another method to create her own Batman. She attempted to have Dick Grayson cloned, since he was similar to Batman and could follow orders. However, the clone went insane was shelved. The clone eventually escaped and attempted to kill Terry.
// No matter how busy they are, the McGinnises always find time for "Family Day" fun. Once each month, Miyako, Terry, and Matt spend the entire day together. Something that has proven a problem for Batman
// Terry got a Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X motorcycle for his 16th birthday, but the bike was later stolen by Jokerz.
// Once Bruce gained full control of his company back, he gave Terry the position of “executive assistant”.
// Although Terry usually works alone and doesn’t have his own “Bat Family”, he does find himself allying with newer versions of Batgirl, Batwoman, & Catwoman, as well as gaining assistance from former Batgirls and Robins such as Dick, Tim, Damian, and Barbara
// Terry’s best friend is Maxine “Max” Gibson, a genius and an expert hacker. She became aware of Terry’s secret identity and began assisting him on several of his cases from behind the scenes

// Terry returned to Bruce, begging for help. Bruce refused, but a determined Terry stole an advanced prototype batsuit anyway, becoming the Batman of the future. Eventually, he earned Bruce's support and respect, convinced that there was still a need for a Batman.
// Terry helped Bruce to bed. In the process, he stumbled on the entrance to the Batcave. Bruce followed him into the cave, angrily throwing him out. When Terry arrived home, he discovered that his father had been murdered, with planted evidence that the Jokerz were involved.
// Terry & his girlfriend, Dana, were attacked by the Jokerz. Seeking to lead the Jokerz away from Dana, Terry led them on a chase that ended on the doorstep of Wayne Manor, where an elderly Bruce Wayne assisted him in fighting them. The fight placed stress on Bruce's heart & he collapsed
// Upon discovering the leak, Derek Powers had Tully killed. He also had his right hand man, Mr Fixx, lead a “security” team known as the “Quiet Squad” to find the shard. When Warren didn’t surrender the shard, Fixx had Quiet Squad member Jake Chill kill Warren & the squad framed the Jokerz gang
// Warren, Terry’s father, worked in the research division of the Wayne-Powers Corporation. Warren's friend, Harry Tully, uncovered the illegal production of a flesh eating mutagenic nerve gas for Kaznia despite a weapons embargo being in place. Harry gave Warren a data shard exposing Wayne-Powers.

// With the genetic element accomplished, Waller plotted to have Terry’s parents killed, to traumatize Terry and send him on the same path as Bruce. However, Phantasm, the hired assassin, refused to go along, citing that Batman would never respect to murder.
