We got a new cat a couple weeks ago and the way she slowly opens up to us melts my heart. I'm out of town for a funeral and my husband keeps sending me pictures of Penelope and I'm just.... a puddle.

Had the stomach flu last week and had to limit my diet afterwards for my GI tract to recover, so I'm treating myself now that I'm better. For context, my grandparents always had Jolly Good soda stocked so it's a nostalgia drink for me. The brewery worked with JG to make the beer and it's so tasty

A 4 pack of "Jolly Beer," orange creamsicle flavor. It is an orange can with an orange creamsicle popsicle on the label. While not specifically labeled in the picture the can says it is from Stubborn Brothers Brewery.

The other recipe I tried was the rice pudding, cuz we had all the ingredients for it already. The rice was either not ideal for dessert or I didn't cook it long enough ( but man I was cooking it for a HOT MINUTE). The rice was hard but otherwise good pudding.

A glass container filled which rice pudding. The pudding is slightly orange due to mangos mixed into it. There is a green lid next to the container.

Got 2 more recipes in since then. Took a long break and now it's Spring so I've tried some of the spring recipes First we got the fiddlehead fern risotto. We could not get the ferns but the recipe recommended asparagus as a substitute and I love asparagus so it turned out great

The most recent recipe I tried was the fried mushrooms. It was very convenient cuz the strange buns needed an egg yolk whereas this needed an egg white. Instead of wild mushrooms like the recipe called for I just bought an assorted mushroom pack. Frying is messy work, but damn is it worth it

The 2nd recipe, technically a 2 in 1, was the strange bun with void mayo! The strangest recipe so far. The mayo got its color from black garlic and a touch of activated charcoal. It was such a pain in the ass to make; just so much whisking! As someone who hates mayo, it's not worth it.

Six flakey buns wrapped in a spiral shape and stuffed with fake lobster on a plate. Behind the buns is a small Tupperware container with a grey colored mayonnaise.

Fiance played Awaria recently and surprised me with this when I got home from work 🥰 I can see how Ula could seduce ghosts with those pudding cakes, their fucking delicious!

Homemade vanilla pudding cakes, and a bottle labled "denaturat" with skulls and crossbones on it. The bottle is just the cocktail blue lagoon, but dyed purple.

Finished the Miku dress 2 days before MikuExpo, glad to not pull an all nighter this time 😅 Still disappointed in the concert for not using the proper holograms, but I had fun anyways with my fiance and coworkers.

Figure I'd share my current project. I'm going to Miku Expo in May and I wanted to make and inspired outfit for the occasion. The dress is fully constructed, tho I want to do a nice embroidered hem. I'll be working on that over the next like, month and a half?
