Once you click "image" you get this little block, and it's as simple as clicking on it and adding an image (your comic page) from your computer/device You can even add Alt Text!

To actually add the page, you have to type "/", then you'll see a little pop down menu and click "image"

Basically you make a "publication", this is for each blog or comic series you want to share. After making the publication, you draft up a post (each comic page would be it's own post) and you'll see something like this--

Panel one; Luna is running around a corner, "Thanks!"

Panel two; Betty is talking with Jitterbug. Jitterbug says, "Huh... Maybe she doesn't like pistols?" Betty says, "No... that gun reminded her of something." Jitterbug says, "Well, you've always been better at reading people than I have. Though, I suppose with as long as you've been around, you've probably seen everything."

Panel three; Betty picks up the pistol, "Mind if I take a look?" Jitterbug says, "Not at all! Tell me what you think, will ya? No one I trust more to judge a firearm than you."

Pane four; establishing shot, Betty inspects the gun in front of Jitterbug, "S'nice--real nice. Perfectly balanced, comfortable grip... You said you were commissioned?" Jitterbug says, "Yeah, it was... GME-Cyber." Betty goes quiet. Jitterbug continues, "I know, I know. You and GME got a history together--" Betty interrupts, "No, it ain't that, just... Got a hunch."

Panel five; shot of Luna hunched over a sink and looking in the mirror. Betty continues, "That girl, I think she's in hot water with GME-Cyber--and she may have brought the heat onto me. Was hopin' you'd know of a spot for us to lay low...?"

Panel one; Luna cups her hands under the running faucet.

Panel two; Luna splashes water on her face.

panel three; Luna leans over the sink, looking at herself in the mirror having a nervous breakdown, "The hell... What am I freaking out for? I've seen plenty of guns--I've made guns! But that pistol..."

Panel four; Luna dries her face on a towel, "C'mon, Luna--get a grip!"

Panel five; Luna reassures herself, "It's... probably just nerves. Jitterbug's one of the best engineers around. I'm just a little starstruck. Yeah, that's it..."

Panel one: flashback. The girl, now younger, is hiding under her blanket as a monster claws at the bed frame. "Ever since I was six, the monsters from my daydreams would come to life. And every night, I've had to defeat them to unfreeze time."

Panel two: a monster attacks the girl, she dodges. A baseball is laying on the floor. "No matter what I do, the creatures my mind makes during the day..."

Panel three: the girl smashes the bat over a monsters head. "Come to haunt me at night."

Panel four: the girl reels back, ready to swing again. "But I've learned a thing or two over the years."

Panel five: the girl stands triumphantly over a defeated monster. "And I've gotten really, really good at kicking monster butt."

a 6 panel comic. The character cycles through different genres wondering which one to pick for the story they want to tell. The end panel says "either way, I know TrueRef will have the references I'm looking for."

Panel one: the monster rears it's face toward the girl. "They may seem scary. Terrifying, even."

Panel two: the girl clutches her flaming baseball bat. "But they're no nightmare."

Panel three: wide shot of the girl and the monster in the kitchen. The monster looms over her, much larger than the girl. "You don't get to control your nightmares. But here, in my home, with my bat... I'm in control."

Panel four: close up of the girl's determined, unafraid gaze. "I'm the nightmare."

End of comic ad placement. The girl from the comic points at a screenshot of the Kickstarter campaign. "Did you know this short comic was first featured in a book? It was in the Weirding Hours: an Ominous Omnibus. Our Kickstarter succeeded in the first three days!"

The girl is now holding her dog in front of a screenshot of Nerdi Grey's Ebay page. "Now 'Overactive Imagination' is being shared publicly for the first time! And you can buy the original pages on Ebay--"

The dog barks, "Arf!"

The girl continues, "Also, Sadie says hi."

Over-active Imagination

🎨 Panel one: Kids are playing in a school yard. A girl is sitting alone on a swing, drawing in her sketchbook. "My parents tell me that I have an 'over-active imagination'. They say that its a good thing to be creative, but I need to come down from the clouds once in awhile. I guess I do spend a lot of time day dreaming, but I've no choice. I have to prepare for the night."

Panel two: close up of the girl's sketchbook. She is drawing a spooky monster. "You see, the problem with my imaginatino..."

Panel three: The girl looks up as the bell rings.

Panel four: The girl starts walking off. "is that I have to face my own creations.

Panel one: The girl is getting settled into bed. She calls out, "Goodnight Dad n' Papa! Love you!" Internal dialogue continues, "I've learned how the game works. The clock stops at the same time every night--11:59pm"

Panel two: close up of the girl's closed eyes.

Panel three: the clock reads, "11:59pm"

Panel four: close up of the girl's open eyes, looking determined.

panel five: the girl walks across her room with a baseball bat in hand. "Everyone disappears--and I mean everyone. My dads, my dog Sadie, even our neighbors. It feels like I'm all alone. But the worst part is..."

Panel six: the girl opens her door.

Panel seven: down the hall, a silhouette of a monster can be seen. "I know I'm not."

Panel one: low shot from under a table. Tonight's monster looms, looking very spooky.

Panel two: the girl looks at her sketchbook drawing of the monster on fire. "I try to draw down every detail. 'Know thy enemy' ...Or something like that."

Panel three: the girl peeks into a cabinet, looking at a bottle of canola oil. "Sometimes my daydreams give me clues on how to defeat them."

Panel four: shot of the stove top.

Panel five: the girl watches as her oil covered bat erupts in flames over the gas burner.
