Fanfest Day 1 - so happy to be here. What a show, had such a great time with some wonderful friends. New tank looks insane (forever a DRK main though), whole con well thought out and everyone lovely, all just enjoying what it had to offer and excited to hype together. FFXIV's so special. 💖
Heading to Berlin for Fanfest tomorrow! Was so gutted to miss out when it was in London so feeling extremely fortunate to be going this time. Even if I end up having no success with timeslots, just being there this time is enough. Desperate for the Fanfest hoodie though so hope I get a merch slot. 🤞
I had this old punky top that's falling apart and the Hades hoodie that's always been way too big and decided to splice the two. Cue a little applique and I have a fun top for one of the evenings of Fanfest. Especially loving how well my chest tats work with this!

Doing some wig work and since I haven't shaved in a few days I thought I'd pop Cid on. Feels like a long time since I've shown off any of my costume work, but sadly my current project (Nahobino) is very slow going! Love this cosplay but it never reached full potential after my arm got destroyed. 😅
New heatwave friend. Even with aircon in the bedroom sleeping's been a challenge, and this definitely took the edge off.

I've been building the Occre Lisboa tram 28. It is - very involved - every step feels like a real test. It's not going to be perfect but I'm loving the process (didn't anticipate the amount of work on the seats alone). 38 steps to go. 🤣 This could definitely turn into a hobby for me!
The moment I embraced the glory of trams as the superior mode of transportation.
If you ever find yourself in Lisbon, the Museu da Carris is excellent. It's split into two sections, with a depot filled with tram stock and a ride across the museum to get to it! Loads of really fascinating bits of history (there's even a bassoon there, haven't seen one in years 🤣)
Have been visiting friends in Lisbon this week with @eidolon.co.uk, so the time has involved wonderful company, conversation, and food, some beautiful sights, and history. We also did a road trip to the Spectrum museum, which was such a treat - absolutely gorgeously curated. I wildly adore trams.
Anyway, back to work on this. It's been a significant time and I'm surrounded by patterns I made months ago, but I'm not letting things I enjoy (and am damn good at, not that that matters!) stop just because the world's a mess. Bonus Kasha keeping me company.
Redbubble sorting me out with an excellent book for stickers at Fanfest in July. I've pre-decorated it with some favourite cheeky memes. Also featuring what will become my Alcor sticker, lovingly created a few years back by the wonderful @sammckie.bsky.social. And, well, Alcor hasn't changed. 😅
It's finally here - first ice cream day of the year. The smell of people triumphantly getting reaquainted with their barbeques is upon us. Love it!

New tattoo by the wonderful Twocabz. Inked ahead of our upcoming ten year wedding anniversary (this was our flower). Of my (many) tattoos, this is striking in that it's one of only a few in colour. Now to finally let my poor leg hair grow back in peace!
Not usually one for long sleeves but I'm a big Gymshark fan so had to get one of the Onyx hoodies. I did want the blue/grey but these bad boys sell out quick! Not an everyday gym look for me as I prefer a less "it's like I'm wearing nothing at all" vibe when out, but it's nice and good quality. 🙂
