Somewhere between heaven and woolworths
Good morning One can almost hear the birds, insects, plants, and people breathing a collective sigh of relief.
I don't know the position from which the 1972 photograph was taken, but here is the Ebbw Valley about 3 miles south of Ebbw Vale in summer 2025.
Delightfully liberating in its absurdity. But then absurdity often is liberating. Or is that only if one teeters on the brink of it oneself?
I watched a shroud moving down the valley and I thought 'here comes the next pall of smoke'. But it wasn't smoke, it was rain.
