It's #DiabetesWeek - let's talk about diabetes care.💙 In 2024/25, over 58 million anti-diabetic drugs were prescribed in England. Anti-diabetic items increased by 11% since 2023/24 mainly due to Tirzepatide and Dapagliflozin medication. ➡️
This #UKDiabetesWeek, remember that if your diabetes is treated with medication, not diet alone, you may be entitled to free NHS prescriptions with a medical exemption certificate. A certificate covers all your prescriptions, not just diabetes medication. To apply, speak to your doctor or GP.
