Finally got BD: FF Remaster going on my Switch 2. I'm on Chapter 3, grind til I'm over-leveled. I forgot how much I love Summon Friend -- the very cool @asymetricalhomo.bsky.social has saved me in battle. This & FFX2 are two of my fav fashion magical girl JRPGs.
I'm so glad to see DD hit a FIFTH printing for #1 of the current volume. That's amazing for Stephanie Phillips and David Garbett who are just killing it.
I gotta lotta feelings about this lantern & ring. I like the design and the exploration beyond the basic visual identity. Buuuut. Man the trailers & reviews have me nervous. And that makes me feel like it's an effort to get away from the canon.

I was an enormous fan of Ocean to Ocean, I liked a lot about Native Invader, and I was definitely here for both EPs (Muses & Christmastide), but wow, In Times Of Dragons feels like a time machine to a lost classic Tori record. A triumph.
Last night I broke in my modified MtG/FFX Yuna Commander Deck. Counters and tokens and the Lady Summoner. I loved the shield counter + proliferate combo. I don't think my opponents did buuuut
Opening weekend at camp meant no gym. That made this morning's workout really exhausting but the quality of satisfaction I got from finishing was worth it.
Lotta mornings I feel too tired to go to the gym. And then I push myself to go anyway. If you made it today, that is awesome, and if not, you have tomorrow to try again.
I got to see Megan Thee Stallion in Moulin Rouge. The cast was amazing, the visuals were great, and design was stunning. Maybe not my favorite show, score, or book, but it was a great night.
