#aughost2025 prompt shy pencil and ink drawing Ingrid and Leopold hide behind a bush watching a group of kids play. Leopold says go play and Ingrid replies I’m shy. All Ingrid needs to do is make herself visible be seen.

love the rain. The cooling off of the earth and why I love the PNW.

Working on the next in the series. I’ve been doing these collages for awhile. Sometimes I sketch out the whole thing. Sometimes I sketch out parts and piece it together so I can see what I’m envisioning since it’s pitch black in my mind. I always ask my cousins: Can you see what I see? At this stage

I liked this series. A collage working on a reference drawing for another illustration for this series. This helps with my aphantasia - can you see what I see?

I need to restore the top of piano because the wood is peeling off and the middle peddle is disconnected. Undecided if I’ll leave all the carvings and original finish. Or if I will refinish in original style. But we love this piano. It would be nice to get to share with others as it used to be.

A Poster that I did not post on Belogna's Illustrator's wall as I went with a smaller size and did not feature Bruce A/The Moose.

Illustrations were done with traditional Multimedia starting in gouache, pastels, coloured pencils then printed with archival inks and touched up with more traditional mediums for a more dimensional effect then rescanned for PostCardDay. All characters are original characters of Nicole Anne Walker.

Been quiet here. But I have been creating. Lots! Sketches mostly. I went to the Bologna Fair and combined it with a family trip. The kids have never travelled outside of BC since they were each 8 & 6 months. So we’re all burned out, but so glad we went. Pets exactsatic we’re home #belogna #bcbf2026

My second favourite illustration at Belognia Fair. illustration by featured Illustrator from China Chen Yu-Lin who was a finalist in the Chinese Excellence for Children’s Literature. She’s also has been in past selected twice for Belognas Illustrator Exihibition and won many awards.

This illustration series of cats and people riding mopeds was my favourite and I must find and own this book.

Went to the local SPCA thrift store & got the nicest little haul. 10 year old scored sunflower 🌻 embroidered cowboy boots. I’m thrilled with the Giant body position form for $3.99-like new! And this ceramic stoneware—probably from the 70’s. I love these old illustrated PB’s too #thrifthaul #spca

Mine is a favourite memory of an activity I loved to do with my Nana in Toronto between the ages of 6 mo to 6 years old before she moved to the west coast Victoria. I quickly flew west too😊
