Looking upward into a narrow tiled shaft, its ceiling, floor and side walls entirely covered in a mosaic of small blue, green, and yellow tiles that recede symmetrically into the distance. Two round mirrored light fixtures are mounted on each side wall, reflecting the tiled surfaces around them. The shaft ends in a plain pale panel flanked by narrow mirrored strips, with a small round dark sensor or fitting set into the left-hand end wall.
