A little baby donkey got born overnight on the farm. He is doing well and took his first steps during the day.
This week’s travel game is Culdcept Begins. A lovely mixture of Fortune Street, Monopoly and Magic. Travel across a game board, place monsters and try to hoard mana. By upgrading at the right time and winning combat, you put opponents in a pickle. Good times! #NintendoSwitch2
Just when PEGI and USK dual age rating boxes finally stopped surprising me.
Good lord, I forgot how good the attract mode on the SNES Mini is. Earlier I was checking some messages and the opening of Final Fantasy VI was playing. 🥹
This week’s travel game is Hexapoda. A small but intense vertical shoot ‘em up where you deal with bugs. Lots of bugs. The patterns can be particularly tricky. Simple style helps you to know what to interact with. The different ships and abilities keep it fresh! #NintendoSwitch2
This week’s travel game is Gecko Gods. You waddle about and solve puzzles as a little gecko. Camera is a bit getting used to, but the game oozes style and charm. A perfect morning game as you take things slow, and figure out the thing you want to tackle next! #NintendoSwitch2
“Pics or it didn’t happen!” - Cooking Mama in the video game Cooking Mama: Cookstar on the Nintendo Switch family of systems in the year 2020
This week’s travel game is Parking Garage Rally Circuit. A silly racing game that sees you riding and drifting across parking lots. The focus is on momentum, setting the best times and continuously improving those runs. The SEGA Saturn style makes PGRC stand out! #NintendoSwitch2
What in the copyright infringement is present at the kids’s area of Dutch Comic Con?
This week’s travel game is Kabuto Park. You collect bugs, level them up and battle in the Summer Beetle Battles Championship. It is a short game where you hop between screens and enjoy the chill vibes. The style and music fit Kabuto Park oh so perfectly. #NintendoSwitch2
This week’s travel game is Kiko’s Apple Adventure. Very charming Sokoban-esque game where you try to get apples onto rafts. Rafts can be moved within the boundaries of the puzzle. Hard from the jump, but lovely solutions and obstacles make it shine. APPLE PIE! #NintendoSwitch2
I have a required office day tomorrow. Might keep myself unspoiled until I get home, considering it has been the biggest presentation of theirs in a long time. 🤔
Dan Clancy, CEO of Twitch, is giving a whole concert at the Yamaha booth. Huh.
Played around with Pictonico… like way too much. It is a cute little WarioWare-esque game that fills my itch somewhat. Obviously not same as a full length WarioWare, but I do have fun going through the motions. Currently trying to best the score attack modes!
This week’s travel game is Dungeon Clawler. Roguelike that sees you playing a claw machine to get the items you need. Can purchase and upgrade the tools, but ultimately grabbing them gives you the edge. As you continue, enemies will make grabbing tools tricky! #NintendoSwitch2
I hate it when they speak the truth to me in video games. #TomodachiLife #NintendoSwitch
This week’s travel game is Rune Dice. A tactical roguelike that is perfectly bite-sized. You draft dice and artifacts with various effects to defeat enemies. During combat, you will fling dice and numbers increase as they touch. Precision is key. Super novel! #NintendoSwitch2
I’ve been in Utrecht this weekend, trying out a new Mega Heracross EX deck at the Pokemon Regional Championships. My opponents immediately loved it, which made the work feel worth it. This is one of my silliest decks EVER, but it’s just so nice to play with. 🥹
Two travel games in one week? Sure! Currently exploring Sektori, a brutal twin-stick shooter that is all defeating enemies and collecting power-ups. Its visual DNA reminds me a lot of Geometry Wars, which was exactly what I was in the mood for. Harsh but fun! #NintendoSwitch2
This week’s travel game is Vampire Crawlers. This funky spin-off of Vampire Survivors is a roguelite deck builder. Pace of the game is fantastic. Traveling through dungeons, collecting items & leveling up your characters is instantly satisfying. Worth exploring! #NintendoSwitch2
The next time somebody asks you about a Nintendo Direct… you add them to Tomodachi Life and do this. #NintendoSwitch
Pre-ordered this months ago, but I finally got my Belkin Charging Case Pro. It comes with quite the price tag, but I do really like the things it offers. A nice stand, built-in charging and a secure form factor that the Nintendo Switch 2 can stay neatly in. Pretty impressed.
This week’s travel game is Chippy & Noppo, which recently got a Switch 2 Edition in Japan. Alone or with a friend you solve puzzles. Put blocks together to create sculptures and finish tasks. Characters have their own specialties, making coordination important. #NintendoSwitch2
I made one of those Pokopia shirts at Uniqlo yesterday. Did I do good? 🥹
