Nicholas Nada ニコラスナダ
@nixnada
Just a grinning skull from Glasgow 🏴. By day, a simple office worker, but by night... I'm usually pretty tired so I watch a bit of TV and then go to bed.
I'm thinking for next year I'll drawing my own wee comic zine thing and get it printed up. Maybe handing them out will be a silly little ice breaker for me, maybe I'll walk around with them in my bag and never get the courage to take one out, but at least I'll have done something, right?
We're off to Sequential Scotland! First person to come up to me and say, "hey, are you Nicholas Nada?" wins a prize. I'll be the guy wearing a Dredd badge t-shirt and a permanently nervous expression.
It's a good bundle, people. I mean, look at that title. You see a title like that and you're not thinking, are you, you're just hitting download. Like, straight *hammering* that button, like that'll somehow make it download faster.
Or you could just put it where I'm already looking, instead of turning this into the world's shittest choose your own adventure story
Pan's Labyrinth is 20 years old! Where does the time actually go? I drew these two pictures a long time ago, on a Nintendo 3DS
An old drawing of the Johns from tmbg. I think this was probably drawn for a day of inktober.
Next into the bin it's this picture from The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Turns out it's #WorldGiraffeDay today, so next in my series of recently-binned old drawings is whatever this is:
Couple of Skarsgårds. I was watching that mini series he was in, River, while I drew these. That was a good show
The pre-house-move clearout is sending a lot of my daft old drawings to the recycle bin, but I took some photies to remember them by...
Been house hunting recently. Wasn't too into this one until I saw this room. Do you think I'll need to wait until I'm able to equip bombs and then look for a crack in the wall outside?
Really getting into Steven Universe now, and I particularly like his dad. One, he has one - Steven is a magical boy who's not an orphan! Two, his character design. He runs a car wash by the beach, so has sunburnt tan lines from a t-shirt and trousers, yet he mostly wears a vest and shorts
No AI! Drawn on Clip Studio Paint with a Huion Dial tablet thingy
Nice surprise arrived in the post this morning! Didn't even know it had been despatched. Top quality printing and a magazine that takes me back to my misspent youth. Love it! #A1Deadline
I might be a horrible person, I don't know, but headlines like this give me energy. 'Mon the elephants!!
Just remembered I had used that alpaca reference before, to draw this little guy:
Me, a foolish amateur writer: how can I communicate the relationship between my characters without make my dialogue seem clumsy? Shakespeare, our greatest wordsmith:
Innocently scrolling through the Guardian when my eyes were ASSAULTED by this DEVIANT FILTH! I don't know what SICK, DEPRAVED activities get their writers going but I for one will not stand for
Post a non-religious picture you think of as holy. Art by @wocco.bsky.social
(bonus WIP underpainting shot for all you perverts who are into that sort of thing. I don't judge)
