How much can you write in just one #WASummerCamp? I got 10 new articles, 8 drafts and 6 outlines with at least 300 words on each, plus eight mini articles (stubs) 💃 screenshots all taken from: www.worldanvil.com/w/solaris-nn...
our local indie bookstore had the translations of the classics that i wanted in stock, and i may have also picked up a few extra 🥰
shakeel used genAI for the concept art, and was later able to work with artisans to bring the concept to life. the original planets look almost like they've been infected with crystal boils, it was the human work that transformed it into something beautiful
the jewel system by sara shakeels, although i would really like to highlight the beautiful embroideries courtesy of 80 artisans
Hello, new followers! I'm annie, a illustrator and writer who's slowly but surely working on a worldbuilding project and comic! It's a love letter to and collab with my fiancée @skairunner.bsky.social you can explore Solaris, our setting, over on world anvil www.worldanvil.com/w/solaris-nn...
i love the concept of space whales so much, i had to include them in solaris. an article about the leviathans, their friends, and the great migration: an event that occurs every four centuries during solar maximum www.worldanvil.com/w/solaris-nn... [ #art #solaris #worldbuilding #featurefriday ]
So proud of getting my worldbuilding wiki for Solaris overhauled to 3.0! After hunkering down in the css mines, it's now loading faster, more solid on mobile, and I added an optional dark theme! 🥰 www.worldanvil.com/w/solaris-nnie
i finished reading small boat, and i keep returning to this passage about innocence
Take the fictional characters quiz & post the first four you know: i knew so few of the characters i got, but i do recognize these four. apparently im a complex female lead and i will say no to the first guy that proposes openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...
It feels disingenous to make Miyazaki's "insult to life" statement into purely an opposition to AI. After being shown a 'grotesque' walk/crawl cycle, Miyazaki said he didn't feel horror, to him it looked like the struggle of his disabled friend. The insult to life itself was the ableism.
11/ a couple of the comics i've read and loved recently are heartstrings, their story (tamen de gushi), veil, kill six billion demons i also love all the comics i've gotten from shortbox fairs too, i haven't been let down by anything i got there. downside is i don't know where you'd find them now
9/ i love art, and i really love going to a gallery. i don't get to do it often, but a few days ago skye took me on a date to the national museum ( do go see the else hagen exhibit if you're in oslo, her paintings are so vibrant and gorgeous )
starting to lose count, so i'll start numbering these. next up is apollo, whom i also love. he's a cat who wants to be a real boy so bad. he's very happy we got a proper set of dining chairs and he can sit with us when we eat dinner he also has a passion for breaking and entering 🥰 8/?
i love my cats. i'll introduce you to luna first. she's never finished a thought in her life, she has evil in her heart, and her favourite thing is not being noticed by people 🥰
i think i could go on forever if i made individual posts for everything, so i'll collect some of my favourite movies in one. my cousin once went through my letterboxd in horror because i rate using the whole scale and i rate with my heart anyways here's my top 4 i love messy women
i also play the sims 2, and i'm especially in love with modded historical games, though i haven't played in a while. mostly i just gaze longingly at my custom content trove 😂 i made some historical cc too, and have some half-written career overhauls i'd like to get back to some day
i love the sims. i really enjoy the grind of the first game, and i'm so proud of the seylers, who have been able to afford the big house on the hill. i'm still working on furnishing the house, it didn't help that my breadwinner sim switched careers 😅
i grew up playing f2p runescape, so to treat myself once i was earning my own money, i got the membership i'd dreamed of as a kid, and did all the things i wanted to do back then. my favourite part was picking strawberries and the right outfit for each quest
