I’m so sorry to hear of Tom Kane’s passing. The man’s iconic voice ignited the imaginations of an entire generation with his Clone Wars intros. And his portrayal of classic characters brought such life and joy to us all. Love and peace and prayers to his loved ones. Rest in peace, good sir.

After that display, I’d say Marrok is the second most impressive Inquisitor. The Grand Inquisitor took down 5 Jedi alone. No other Inquisitor has gotten quite there. But Marrok overpowering a Jedi Master & Padawan AND matching #Maul, even for a little while, is pretty formidable.

I’m very excited for Fate of the Old Republic (FotOR). But, it’s been four years since both KotOR remake and Eclipse were given very pretty cinematic announcement trailers followed by near total radio silence. Gonna temper my excitement until I see something/anything more than a cinematic trailer.

I’m very curious why the #RepublicCommando novels never got audiobook editions. I’m sure there’s an obvious bts reason that we listeners just aren’t aware of, but from here it looks like an odd omission. Long shot but I don’t suppose @msiglain.bsky.social has any insight he’s privy to share?

I listened to the audiobook of MASTER OF EVIL and can I just say, @marcthompsonvo.bsky.social absolutely kills it! (As always but bears repeating) The man’s Vader performance is superb. There’s one specific bit where Vader is interacting with surprise-second-voice that was SO emotional. WELL DONE!!

Just finished STAR WARS: MASTER OF EVIL by @adamchristopher.me. What a great ride! The gothic horror feel works very well with Vader. And the choice of who to use as POV characters when (and who NOT to use) provided such refreshing perspectives and kept that eerie vibe going. Highly recommended!!

Finally finished Trials of the Jedi, and the High Republic as a whole(for now). What an incredible initiative; the creator collaboration & artistic bravery. I’m not going to pretend I don’t have critiques, but goodness. This is the storytelling method we need more of; Creator teamwork, peer to peer.
