Washing road-sore hearts: no burden, but joy.
I kinda just wanted to pour you an extra pot of coffee. Thank you so much for your diligence and kindness and patience
Aldi is selling boxed ice cubes - 4 per box - for $4.99. What does Aldi know that we don't know?
A Fox poll, so the approval rate will be artificially high. A poll from April, before the SoH had been in a gazillion unfinished "deals" and before the Reflecting Pool embarrassment. And only about 2.5k adults polled out of an adult population of about 255 million.
Today I remember Herbert Nicholson. He traveled for years to Japanese-Americans who were unjustly incarcerated in concentration camps in the US, delivering books, personal effects, and the cremains of a son. We have many heroes to strengthen us. #manyheroes encyclopedia.densho.org/Herbert_Nich...
There's no one look to them, but it's typical for them to have the loved one's name, photo, birth/death dates, nicknames, a sentiment, a Bible verse, doves, angels, roses, etc. They are usually very detailed. This example is more basic than most. They are more common in the Black community.
My deceased brother, a NASA and astronomy geek, was a kid during the Apollo missions. Two years before he died of cancer, he went to Space Camp for teachers: his dream. I wish he could see Artemis II, Webb, LOFAR's black hole wake, etc. He would have just loved the cats+Integrity photos. I sure do.
I don't make income from my pieces but I am happy to be learning for myself. I was proud of this one.
Direct aid information for the 3 people arrested and needing bail, as seen on Indivisible Memphis on FB.
Today I remember Maksymilian Kolbe. He published anti-Nazi works, worked with fellow friars to hide between 2k-3k vulnerable people, and volunteered to be executed by starvation to spare someone else. We have many heroes to strengthen us. #manyheroes www.britannica.com/biography/Sa...
I wrote postcards to some staffers, asking if they really wanted to work for someone who brags about breaking arms.
Today I remember Otto and Elsie Hampel. They handwrote messages of resistance against Nazis and left them in public places. We have many heroes to strengthen us. #manyheroes dirkdeklein.net/2019/08/10/o...
