I didn’t expect to see these at Half-Price Books. Honey and Clover is practically my favorite anime. Wish they had vol 6 and the rest of the series, but I just had to pick up what they had.
Picked this up for a dollar over the weekend. The title caught my eye, the synopsis sounded interesting and a quick look at google gave a good impression. It is a kids book, maybe middle school level, so it’s an easy read. Read it the past few days wanting to continue each night. I liked it.
Thinking about turning into Tarot Housepets. But it’s kinda just a mild inconvenience; folks will turn into cartoon characters often like the common cold and then it’ll just suddenly go away. Gotta explain to folks at work that she’s from a niche webcomic.
Someone left a bunch of blank stickers in the Artist Lounge at FWA so I thought I would draw a Gabe. Unfortunately, the sticker did not like my pens. The ink would not take and would rub off easily. I’m actually surprised I found a way to get it home safely.
I got a cute pocket friend from @mouseymogg.bsky.social. Unfortunately, it was cursed.
I wanted to get more pins and stuff at FWA this year. Stickers are more economical, but collecting pins has always been a big thing for me.
Finished keychains for @pamant.bsky.social & @chronusky.bsky.social. Also made a shaker charm for @keepay.bsky.social. #GabeArts
This thrift store has an Epson ET-2800 for $50. I’m very curious, but I also gotta be wary because it is a thrift store.
This doodle was supposed to be a test for a smaller keychain-size drawing, but I just kept working on it so now it’s a badge. I still need for work on the keychain drawing. :V For @oneiralchroma.bsky.social #GabeArts
I bought a laminator a few weeks ago and I’m finally getting around to testing it out. Laminating that badge I drew a while back, a doodle that turned into a badge for @punkjax.bsky.social, and this Christmas sweater art I got from @alphabunnerarts.bsky.social. They all came out pretty clean.
My first drawing tablet was a Wacom Graphire 3. I actually still have it somewhere in a box of stuff. Haven’t tried using it in decades.
I probably didn’t need another pencil case, but I liked the pockets and how organized I can keep things. Plus now I can carry my index cards in the case.
Going through some clutter in my closet and there’s a lot of papers from college. Mostly notes and some assignments. Most papers went in the recycle bin, but I couldn’t throw out any of the pages with doodles on them. Put those in a small binder. God, these are from around 2011.
