Paul Nolley for Congress

Father, husband, and champion for Illinois' working class. Running for U.S. Congress in IL-16. NolleyforCongress.com
More workers across our district and region are joining our campaign! I’m grateful to CWA District 4 for their endorsement and proud to stand with thousands of working people across the Midwest in the fight to make our government work for ordinary people again.
Darin LaHood serves the powerful few. As your representative, I’ll work for you. We don’t take money from corporate PACs, AIPAC, or groups defending our broken & corrupt campaign finance system. We’re building a movement powered by ordinary people, and together we’ll flip this district.
Another great journey across #IL16! Thank you to the good folks in Peoria, Oregon, and Pecatonica for building this movement with us. We may not have our opponent’s millions in corporate campaign cash, but we have hundreds of fired-up people ready to build a better future for the next generation.
Today marks 61 years since Medicare and Medicaid became law. For six decades, they’ve provided essential care to seniors, children, people with disabilities, and millions more. Darin LaHood voted for largest Medicaid cuts ever. I’ll fight to reverse the LaHood cuts and expand Medicare access.
Today marks 500 days since this campaign began & 100 days until the election. Thank you to everyone building this movement across #IL16. No corporate PAC money. No lobbyist influence. Just everyday people taking on an out-of-touch incumbent and fighting for what matters. Let’s go!
Proud to have earned the support of @ilaflcio.bsky.social in the general election. Organized labor is one of the few ways working people can gain power. When we flip #IL16, working families will finally have a representative who stands with them, not those consolidating wealth and power at the top.
Our country should belong to the people who make it run. For too long, our leaders have answered to the powerful instead of regular people. We’re building a coalition that can win, deliver real change, make life easier for working families, and expand opportunity for generations to come.
Happy Independence Day! On our 250th anniversary and such a critical point in our nation’s history, we must defend our rights, protect self-government, and ensure the American Dream belongs to every working person and family, not just the wealthy and powerful. I’m ready to do my part.
The House Majority is at stake this year & we can flip a district right here in IL. But we need your help. Our fundraising period ends midnight today! Please pitch in any amount and help flip the 16th District from Red to Blue! Go to NolleyforCongress.com to contribute before midnight tonight!
Great evening in Grundy County yesterday, meeting residents at Heritage Woods of Minooka and holding a town hall in Morris. We discussed AI, data centers, rural healthcare, utility costs, international conflicts, and more. We stayed until every question was answered!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads across our district. I’m grateful to spend some extra time with my kids and my dad today. Growing up as the son of a mechanic, I learned the value of hard work early and picked up some automotive skills I hope to pass down. Hope you all enjoyed a relaxing day!
Great to sit down with @rokhanna.bsky.social this week. We share a belief in a new economic direction that puts working people and communities hit hard by deindustrialization and bad trade deals first. I’m grateful for his support and proud to have him standing with our campaign to flip #IL16!
We should all be glad the war is over but be upset that it ever started. It’s been a disaster for our country and for the world. I opposed it from day 1. Darin LaHood supported it every step of the way. He needs to be held responsible his support of this war and in November, you can do just that.
The people of #IL16 were already struggling before this war started and are even more so because of it. I thank all who voted to pass the War Powers Resolution. LaHood once again shows he doesn't care about you. He cares about the political + corporate class that's kept him in power for a decade
The story of how my grandfather and his fellow vets brought the LZ Peace Memorial in Rockford to life is truly inspirational. It's a vital place where one can reflect on the sacrifices and service of our countrymen. “All gave some, some gave all.” Wishing everyone a peaceful Memorial Day!
I stand with the working people of #IL16 & our growing list of endorsements from labor reflects this. We fight for the people who build this country, not the ones who are actively working to tear it down, divide us & force us to fight for the scraps. Thank you to IW Local 444 for your support!
Farmers has faced years of industry consolidation that kills competition and drives up input prices. LaHood’s failed policies are driving them off a financial cliff The govt must prioritize the needs of family farms, which means steering policy toward those without lobbyists and big corporate PAC $
This morning, I joined my friends from SEIU Healthcare IL & IN and other workers to speak out against the devastating cuts this administration and Congress have made to essential programs like Medicaid and SNAP The everyday people of our country deserve so much better. We must fight to deliver it
Workers’ Memorial Day reminds us of those who never came home from work. Every worker deserves to return to their loved ones safely. We must strengthen workplace protections, not cut OSHA and other agencies that keep people safe. Thank you, Rockford United Labor, for hosting tonight.
Another day on the road! I about our campaign in Princeton before heading north to Rockford to welcome everyone to a volunteer training The field work begins soon and we are bringing in hundreds of people from across the district to meet voters where they are and energize folks across the district!
Thank you to our friends at Lee County Democrats for the candidate social in Dixon! I met a ton of new supporters and fired up people from the area who are looking to move our nation in a better direction. I will see you all again soon!
Darin LaHood hasn't held an in-person town hall in 9 years. Screening phone call questions is just cowardice. This campaign schedules and advertises town halls weeks in advance. I will go anywhere and talk to anyone. We will continue to fight for real representation while Darin works on photo ops.
Honored to be supported by Democrats Abroad Veterans and Military Families Caucus My grandfather has spent his entire life supporting his fellow veterans after returning from Vietnam. His service and passion for helping others inspired me to build a career serving others.
Today marks NINE YEARS since my opponent last held a Town Hall in our district. In just the past few months, we’ve held a dozen Town Halls and similar events—open to anyone, no screened questions, no gatekeepers. 9 years of not showing up is enough. This November, you can choose someone who will.
Recent tornadoes and extreme weather hit communities across #IL16 hard, with Lena among the worst affected. Families are dealing with major damage and disruption. Relief efforts are underway—please consider donating to help this work on the ground: tinyurl.com/mpkjes4n
In Q1 '26 we raised over 400% more than our last quarter, but also 40% more than what LaHood's last two challengers raised in their entire campaigns COMBINED! We outraised him by nearly 30% in total donations from individuals. Over 75% of LaHood's funding came from corporate PACs
We had a great morning yesterday in Mackinaw! This is the moment where regular people like us need to get involved, stand up, and fight back against the chaos and division being pushed by the powerful forces in Washington, D.C.
Thank you to the people of Morton! We had another packed and energetic town hall last night with a room full of people of all backgrounds asking important questions about the future of our country Big thanks to the Illinois Wesleyan College Democrats for having us out to talk about our campaign
Last night, folks from Geneseo packed our town hall! We welcomed Democrats, Republicans, and Independents to participate We are meeting people where they are, to talk about our campaign, our values, and our ideas. The energy this campaign is building is ramping up across the district!
Will LaHood continue to stand by this as the president threatens to destroy an entire civilization? Is this how he wants to be remembered? People from across the political spectrum have spoken out about the insanity of this statement. It's disturbing that my opponent seems unwilling to do the same
