Got up and was at work at 6am,last meeting done at 10am. Because of the incoming thunderstorms, we spent 5 hours packing up camp, then got on the road for an unexpected 6 hour ride home. Gotta love one lane roadwork. Regardless, our time at the property was enlightening. Got a new list to work.
Doing remote training from here has really helped lift my mood in general. The world continues to burn, but here, those things are a distant roar. I find that you have to find a happy spot, no matter where it is, to decompress. Like to personally thank the person who perfected fly traps 😉🤣
Went up to the property to see hot things are progressing. Finally able to turn around on our own property is a good feeling. Hoping to have a base camp up in a week or so and do some serious astrophotography.

I’m doing a favor for a friend that has taken me away from the house for 24 hours or so. This is the first time since bonding with our Cavalier Rosie that I’ve been gone. She apparently nested and slept on my side of the bed. I know how she feels, missed my pack all day. #dogsrule

Made it to our property last night. Silence like I haven’t had in eons. Sitting under a tree contemplating the universe.. I needed this mental break.
Result from adding nearly two more hours of data this morning to my NGC 7000 mosaic. 1597x20 sec exposures 8.9 hours. Bortle 8/9 Stacked and processed in Siril. Details are starting to become defined, without blown out stars. Another two days of data I think. #astrophotography #seestar
