Apropos nothing, the sourdough I was too tired to bake of yesterday night put that cold rest in the fridge to rather good use :)
Just saw Cirque du Soleil's "Echo" in Marymoor park, and it was astounding. I thought I had seen my share of shows, but this one defied every expectation and continuously subverted expectations in the best possible way. Outstanding performance. images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5...

Following three miserable failures, this is the result of feeding the sourdough a bit of Greek yoghurt and a soupçon of commercial yeast (otherwise also known as “cheating”). I am not too disappointed ;)
That said, I will break a lance for the variety that is poppy seed, and nigella :)
Apparently it’s dead simple to make your own sea salt chocolate at home. All it needs is some couverture, silicone molds and of course, coarse salt.
And this is what our cities could look like everywhere if we invested just a bit in design and modern infrastructure. Seriously, Auckland puts New York and San Francisco to shame, it's a bloody marvel.
