I bought a budding dahlia a week ago and it’s blooming nicely now. Also eating tiny tomatoes. :)

Morning sun so nice.

Opal lay down in my lap under the knitting and now it’s hard to knit without disturbing her… nice and warm I guess.

In other news, one of my petunias had broken on one side, so now I have a decorative metal tray instead hanging there. Also, picture evidence that a tomato is ripening!

Does anyone know what these are? They all seem separate and have ”eyes” on both ends, here threaded on some metal wire for storing. I got them because they seemed handy.

I had to fasten so many ends (while keeping an eye on Zevran to make sure he didn't get any yarn) because of course Zevran didn't only make the three holes - he also gnawed on the yarn cake so it broke in many places. I THINK I've gone through all the damaged parts now...

Zevran got my knitting while I was reading something and made three holes before I noticed. Did a barebones mending and will fill it in with the carry along yarn later.

Waiting for my train and drinking the free Vanilla Coke I got on my way home yesterday. I don’t normally drink more caffeine than in the morning, but this was free and tasty.

By coincidence, I ended up first in line for the actual entrance (in 30 minutes) because I wanted to wait out of the rain.

Yesterday at the yarn store I saw this yarn (called Soft now instead of Eco Soft) and I really loved it. Alpaca and cotton. Looks and feels great knitted up!
