Yale said that 45% of Americans believe that global warming will harm them personally a little/not at all. That is clearly not the same thing as 56% of Americans believing that climate change will not harm them personally at all.

The closest thing to support for the claim comes later, when Huber says NGOs have replaced mass-membership orgs in the Dem Party. The implied connection (climate NGOs serve donors over workers, forcing dealignment) is left for the reader to fill in. idk if that's what he thinks, but it seems wrong
The same thing goes for the argument that class dealignment is exacerbated by a focus on climate. Where is the evidence? There isn’t any presented in the piece.
Bernie campaigned on a $16 trillion plan to meet the scale of the climate crisis, and Sunrise called for a Civilian Climate Corps to employ 1.5m people. Compare that with what Dems actually produced: $369 billion for climate/energy and 20k jobs. The gap's too big to call climate central to the party
