I've been watching the betting odds for the Gorton and Denton by-election. Labour's odds are narrowing slightly, Reform odds are getting longer. The Greens are very strong favourites to win. For a £20 stake you would now only get £9 if they win. They're the only party at less than evens.

Renting costs way more in the long run than buying a home. The problem is, for most young people today, buying is way outside of their reach financially. What that means long term is that those with money buy up property that then makes them richer while those who are shut out become poorer.
