Hehe! 😝 I don’t think I’ve actually seen him in person since primary school but he did seem a good kid to get on the right side of growing up in Clifton! I have a lot to thank him for really. I still have the Football Post centre spreads he gave me in 1976/77ish plus lots of scrapbook stuff I kept
I’m having a similar dilemma. Last seasons home shirt (which has seen most of our victories this season) or my bright yellow “Champions 98” one which I wore at Wembley last time… 🤔 Definitely won’t be wearing this seasons home shirt as I think we’ve only won twice when I’ve had it on… 🙄
Oh jeez! It was THAT season 🙄 I left Nottingham in 2007 and my work colleagues got me a framed signed shirt (and a hospitality package) as a leaving gift. His signature may even be on it! No wonder this has spent the best part of 20 years gathering dust in the attic! 😂
I know I’m jumping the gun a bit but IF Notts were to get to the final I do hope we aren’t forced to wear a green away shirt at Wembley again! (Could happen if we play Grimsby) 😬🤔
Got home from Cambridge half an hour ago. What a load of old shit that ‘performance’ was. Must do better Notts if you’re serious about promotion this season. Best part of the day was this nice pub I found on the river….

Enjoyed yesterday despite the early kick-off. Not often you can watch a game from 2 different stands! First half behind the goal, second half behind Patto. Great turnout from Notts fans (1,000). I’ve always enjoyed going to Harrogate but hopefully this will be our last visit for a long time….

Traore’s not even been starting for Sligo. The radar definitely malfunctioned when Notts signed him. Hopefully we won’t see him in a Notts shirt again.
We are currently house-sitting in Cornwall looking after these two beautiful girls. Their home is pretty stunning too!

I never made it to the Sandpiper (a bit before my time) but I did read this book a couple of years ago. It’s written by one of the members of Nottingham punk band Some Chicken and the venue gets a few mentions. Decent read actually. 👍
We recently watched every single episode back to back. Absolutely brilliant writing. Left me yearning for quality comedy writing like we had in the 80s and 90s. This episode is still hilarious … 😂
I’m convinced it’s all been part of a grand plan by Reform to destroy the Tory party from within. Some Tory decisions, policies and comms became totally bizarre at times. A deliberate ploy to ruin the party’s credibility? Remember Farage partying with Patel and co at Tory conference? In it together?
