My endless table project- cool old table with a big chunk mixing from the top and some sanded through veneer- is progressing. Get the patch to be anything close to the color has been an undertaking for someone with no idea what they're doing. (This is why it's a learning project).
Eventually, if you click around enough, you're given this: Which is a non clickable URL to some other website that may or may not answer your question
Thanks to a random RT I now understand where my mom got the idea for her latest creations though the putting random things in their mouths is definitely purely her
Novak & Mason Cellars Gloria Mundi Zinfandel. Incredibly balanced, violet, black raspberry, white pepper on the nose, framboise and fresh tart cherries mid palate, exquisitely long finish. Chalky tannins. So glad this has exited the dumb phase. #wine #winesky #zinfandel
It's been so warm in SF recently my galaxy/night sky petunias are mostly purple instead of mostly white (the color ratio is temperature dependent)
She doesn't know what you're talking about, she's just sitting here very innocently
I got my $38 for facebook's drive for the panopticon in service of slightly more effective ads
Putting away the air mattress but the cat is unbothered and will go down with this ship
This is why head pruning sucks - you see how all the grapes are like in giant clumps at random, instead of in a nice line? It's a lot more work to pick.
Well, there's technically one more. The experimental garage lot. Idk know with this one, I think it's gonna break my heart. 5 year old Pinot St George AKA negrette, head pruned (blerg, that's a PiTA), but I guess it's appropriate for an extremely rare CA heritage grape.
This is the other vineyard for this year. It's my bad romance. Fifty year old zinfandel in the eastern hills of Napa, dead east of the bay. The fruit is so intense and perfect (sort of). The vineyard management is best described as benign neglect, so the grapes are extremely uneven
I don't do a lot of #winemaking posting here but I need a break so.... Here's some Pinot I'm really looking forward to bringing in on Tuesday. The grower is an absolute gem, just an absolute master of his craft. I doubt he's got many equals even in Napa. The fruit is perfect; the berries are so tiny
This is zinny. Zinny loves bean bag chairs and is confused and outraged when humans insist on sitting on them, when they clearly exist for cats
Seeing this graph is like learning that the thing you'd secretly suspected was cancer is cancer. ubwp.buffalo.edu/job-quality-... This is a measure of the quality of jobs in the US economy, and the best years after the great recession are still worse than the worst years before it
