It's a few days old. But the green Scotland bit is where his Scottish golf course is. The green signifies how low the grids carbon score is. It's wind powered.
UK here. US grid average is 365g co2 / kwh Mine 116. If we're doing env damages pay up..
7.749p/kwh or in plain speak take last year's energy bills and add 50% (if this keeps up and the gov doesn't separate electricity prices from gas generation). I haven't seen anything in the press about this.
My back garden. The sensor is in shade, attached to a wooden climbing frame. 20ft away from the house. Heat was reflecting off the building. My side of the house heat pump recorded 35c at the time. So in some places you get to experience hotter temps than the air temp.

Just to give an interesting fix for this. In the UK we've just had a sunny / windy day. So @octopus.energy told my home battery to charge when there was too much electricity kicking about, and is now dumping power back into the grid. So there is home tech to help stabilise these sorts of things.
Hit the "max" to see my weather stations max temp / humidity recorded outside in the last 24 hours. Fortunately it was only 84% humidity when the temp was around 24c. We had some rain that didn't help at all.
It's supposed to be 33c here ooop norf. Sensor is hanging outside on a wooden climbing frame away from the house and in the shade facing north.
Air con for the whole house has been slapped on. Current electricity demand is far less than generation
UK energy crisis latest. If you are on the correct tariff you'll be paid 8.54p for every kwh you use. It's a bit windy.
It was below 5p/kwh this time last year. It's really going to go up by winter methinks.

Today. House battery still on 40% made 6.4kwh of electricity. House used 12.5kwh of electricity. So got ages to go until I need to import more expensive electricity from the grid. Today's been overcast all day, rubbish weather.
From a day or two ago : So much wind power we didn't know what to do with it.
Meanwhile the net zero wind turbines are doing something in the energy crisis. Electricity prices are falling to - 11p/kwh. Sadly I've already charged my car.
You can use octopus compare (it's an app) to see how much you save demand shifting. My home battery charges at night so... About £1k saved last year. That's from import only. More saved via demand reduction with the solar pv.
