After reading "Against Great Odds - The History of Alcorn State University", I have to say it was an ok book. It was a hard read when it started to go indepth with each department, who runs each department, where each person was from and how they became ending in 1993/4. It is extremely dated. 6/10.
I am today years old when I found out that Nathaniel Hawthorne Bronner, the co-founder of the black beauty brand Bronner Brothers, is a graduate of Morehouse College! Mind...Blown.
