Had a bunch of songs in Songbook but hadn't updated The Gizmotron™. Some of these were new and so were real rough, but that's part of the process, right?
Old and busted. All that duct tape was on it when I bought it. The stickers I had on it 30 years ago gave up and fell off, but the duct tape is still going.
Got a new guitar case for my Sheraton, as the old one was old-and-busted when I made Atlanta Discount Music throw it in for free when I bought the guitar 30 years ago. So I got out the Yamaha FG I string Nashville style and did a set while I was switching out the Bovedas.
Hadn't felt like playing in a couple weeks, but had fun belting out a buncha favorites of the horn section. Also finally getting the special request into shape.
Did a set this afternoon. “No Matter What” is a fun one. Also did the special request. Maybe I'll film that one soon.
Noticed the clouds outside were exceptionally nice, so I sat out and played for a while.
Power out, and a sunny, warm, beautiful afternoon so I worked on some numbers. I did do the special request. Might cut it tomorrow. The wind finally arrived, so at least they didn't put us all in the dark for nothing. I hope they can get the lights, and more importantly heat, back on before dawn.
Really only opened the case to change the humidifier, but did a set without really meaning to. I also did that one I'm working on by request.

Maybe a handful of you will understand this, but something about walking this path today reminded me of a cold winter day Greg and I went and played the Dark Comet LARP on Alvin's land down near McDonough.
I also did "With a Little Help From My Friends" a couple times because I had a special request for it. That E G# B C# running up to the bridge is always a blast.
RIP to my Amazon Basics Nano Bluetooth speaker, which stopped making sound Wednesday morning. You've been across the country with me in the last 10 years. You were sturdy and reliable right until the end. I was more emotionally attached to you than I realized. I wish I could fix you.
I miscounted I guess and only did a 9 song set tonight. Must be distracted by something. 🤔
Went out to sweep off the snow and was surprised by the lowing of cattle. The whole herd was traversing off to the east in single file.
Got Off Here™ long enough to sing some songs chosen by The Gizmotron™. I really oughta have a Sunday jam here at my place but uptake is always hit and miss.
Fired up The Gizmotron™ and banged out a set. Lots of fan favorites in there tonight.
