pro bono bonobo, rando nobo hobo (enjoyer of corny rhymes) grouch with a poetry problem
experimenting with GF sourdough bread. this is a blend of rye, brown rice flour, sorghum, tapioca starch, spelt (5 g for flavor), and whole psyllium husks (new to bench) results thus far are way better than before (see alts for more) 🍞🥖
because it came up. monofilament fishing line to anything that works as a hook. s sharpened twig hardened in the fire and notched also works
our true wealth is health education and togetherness, the one we always miss, the kiss of bliss that no one can dismiss is within our reach if only each to each we’d teach this simple truth…
“If he cannot separate his personal religious politics from his duty to the entire force, then he is unfit for the job. That should be obvious to anyone who understands the oath as something deeper than campaign theater.”
more form studies coming from my bench… these are doodles and so much fun to create and all run on a single 1.2 V NiMH cell
i much prefer the light coming from the bottom… this is a mold vase i think that someone hand-painted… ya can see the brush strokes under a microscope. this might be the best $1.49 i’ve spent all year
more bench work with fairy lights and MCUs with the news on what’s clever — whatever the weather… light as a feather 🪶
found on the metal pile at the recycling center chip acts as a voltage boost, solar controller, and load driver all in one... i even found an old towel rack to mount a 7 Watt panel I had kicking around — held in place with duct tape 🤓. this will become a solar powered weather station, eventually
latest from my bench: each addressable LED light has a built in resistor and three color channels making them perfect for solar art… the next iteration will be more interactive with motion detection and pulsed color changes
going from breadboard to actual working product was excruciating but worth it: my junktique candle blowing in the wind
salvaged pieces come together in unexpected way to illuminate new ways forward. creativity is release
bread is practice: share it simple ingredients: flour, water, salt, yeast. the salt lends structure to the dough. don’t skip it long fermentation: helps the gut digest the rubbery gluten of hybridized wheat ancient wheats: spelt, einkorn, and rye add flavor and nutrition (nothing more powerful)
I rescued this out of the bins. It will run off any 5 V DC power source and is going to become part of an illuminated shadow box i have in the works. also surface mounted microleds behind laser cut semitransparent colored acrylic… junktique
hear from actual people about its history and you will find it has been like this all along…
