#CDFriday - Grande’s 8th studio album released 7/31/2026 with 12 tracks. Mostly positive reviews. This is definitely a POP album. To soon the know the album’s Billboard standing but the 1st single hit #1 on the US “Hot 100” chart. Discogs list this particular version of the CD was released i the UK.

#CDFriday - Released on 9/27/2001 , this is the 13th and final studio album composed by Joel with 12 classical tracks performed by longtime friend Richard Joo. Charted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Classical Albums. Just quick right turn. Not all CDs come with the small sticker on the front.

#CDFriday - 3rd album released April 4, 1998 with 10 tracks (3 singles). Not a big hit. Featured “a somewhat richer instrumentation, adding strings, saxophone, trumpet, double bass, electric and even acoustic guitars.” Some hits, some misses, and the Alphaville sound is in there.

#CDFriday - McCartney’s 12th solo studio album released 5/29/2026 with 14 tracks (2 singles). Album received universal acclaim for its nostalgic tone. Some will agree and some won’t but to me it’s a lot like listening to a lost early Beatles album.

#CDFriday - 13th studio album released in US on 5/22/2007. This version is a 12 track deluxe limited edition shipped in a Digipak. Has a sticker “Made in Holland” on the back. No vinyl was produced until Erasure’s 30th anniversary. The OG charted # 2 on US Billboard “Top Dance Album” list.

#CDFriday - For the older crowd I present 75 tracks of Sinatra’s finest, released 3/18/2015 in a deluxe 3 CD Gatefold Digipak. The legend lives on thru his music including some of the best Big Band sound ever. IMHO no one did it better.

#CDFriday - Released October, 8, 2020 with the 6 studio albums in a limited edition box set. Dire Straits’ sound defined the 70’s and early 80’s. They were the soundtrack of Miami Vice’s greatest episode. Knopfler defined ‘Less is More’.

#CDFriday - 4th studio album with 11 tracks and 4 singles. Released October 16, 1989. Wild! was Erasure’s 2nd #1 album in the UK. 2x Platinum in UK. Did not do as well in the US but like PSB, the US just isn’t Erasure’s main market. Don’t Americans like to dance?

#CDFriday - A Maxi Single 1st released in Japan 1/25/1990 and in the UK a month later. 7 tracks w/4 versions of the title song. Peaked @ # 3 on UK Singles chart and #12 on the US chart. One of Erasure’s most memorable songs. Appears 1st time on an album in 2016’s “From Moscow to Mars”

#CDFriday - 4th studio album - OG LP released 5/19/1976 with 8 tracks (3 singles). Obviously a celebration of his return to New York. This CD is a reissue from 1998 and features several videos. First time Joel’s band played one of his studio albums. RIAA Platinum certified.

#CDFriday - 6th studio album. OG released 11/11/1978 with 9 tracks (4 singles). Joel’s first Billboard #1. Held for 8 weeks in a row - a big hit! 1 of the first CDs commercially sold. This CD is a later reissue release from1998.

#CDFriday - 5th in the DISCO series of remix albums. Released 11/21/2025 with 12 tracks. PSB remixed and collaborated with other people’s songs along with 2 of their own. As always, great stuff.

#CDFriday - 1996 Remastered Import version of an iconic album. 11 tracks (1 bonus) with 5 singles. OG released 1982 and was #1 on UK Albums chart and Gold in US. A Trevor Horn production! One of my all-time favorites.
