Sheep and wool smallholding. Italian Alps. Felting, hand spinning, natural dyeing. pecorelle.etsy.com
New yarn! My sheep's merino wool dyed with madder, cochineal, chestnuts and onions. It's not on Etsy, if you're interested please contact me.
I don't believe it. I've spent several hours adjusting US prices (prices include tariffe now) two days ago. Give me strength. "tariff rates may vary based on the type of item you’re shipping, not just the country of origin. Your costs to ship to US buyers may increase."
A friend came to visit me yesterday and we stayed talking long into the night. So glad to have a woolly support for my head this morning 😴🐑
Here we go again. Or we don't. That hedge trimmer wasn't there before. Might be dangerous!
I've got my car back! Went down to Ivrea to pick it up. I don't know how do people survive this heat in cities and towns🥵 Ivrea is a roman settlement, but nearly no roman buildings have survived. That's what remains from the amphitheatre.
Sunday workshop students with their yarn. I had my first male student this week!
There is new yarn in my Etsy shop. My merino sheep wool, mill spun and natural dyed with cochineal. pecorelle.etsy.com or dm me if you are interested
I'll never get used to it. That's my bathroom window, I usually don't expect anyone to watch me there. But it's only fair, I watch and control them too.
I love it when "winter" orders come in summer. No rush, I have time to prepare.
Zwartbles and merino hand spun yarn. Washed, carded, spun by hand. I have added some colourful merino wool bits (leftovers from bigger projects) to this brown zwartbles wool. Four skeins available pecorelle.etsy.com/listing/4526... Or write me a pm
Yesterday's first whole day workshop after my knee operation. So happy to be able to teach again! Ice packs during lunch and after the workshop, my new knee is great!
Too hot! The sheep would like to graze at night but I have to close them in the barn because of the wolves.
Good evening 🐑 Many thanks to Sally for supporting me with a ko-fi!
Life is so different without a car. Going to the hospital for the knee check takes all day. There are only a few busses a day. Once I was able to read on the bus, but now my eyes hurt. Knitting is good. I don't know when/if my car will be repaired. Hopefully yes and soon.
