What a book! What a lovely, horrible little thing, haunted by negative space and silence. I don't think I've ever seen prose deploy page turns like a comic before.

A few days away from home, and I've intentionally left my laptop and all my edits behind. So, naturally, it's time to start building out the Book I'm Not Writing.
Paused my walk today at a pub that was completely plastered, both walls and ceiling, with Cursed Art.
What a genuinely remarkable book this is. 150 pages of stream-of-consciousness philosophy and book recommendations for children, wrapped up in just enough mystery to get them hooked. Most are going to bounce off it, but it's going to make a small number of kids into much more interesting adults!
Returning to a project that never quite worked and: it still doesn't work. Time to tear this draft to shreds and reassemble them into something punchier and sillier!
What a lovely, horrible little book this is. By turns hilarious and bleak, with an ending that's going to stick with me for a while.
I'm devastated to hear that we've lost John Blanche. A true titan of fantasy art who shaped so much of my sense of aesthetics. What a loss. What a legacy.
I met this gentleman on my walk the other day. I don't know what he wants but he seems friendly.
I loved the first GALAXY book very much, but this is on another level. Confident, powerful, and fun at every turn. @planetx.bsky.social keeps on getting better and better! And @ryehickman.bsky.social draws goofy teens outrageously well! What a team! What a book!
I've made a lot of mistakes in my time, but failing to read INITIAL D until 2026 might be among the worst of them. It turns out a bunch of guys who look exactly like Leon Kennedy doing the coolest shit imaginable in cars makes for GREAT comics. Who'd have guessed?
I've been growing vegetables on my balcony in this vertical shelving unit, and SOMEOBODY has been digging them up. SOMEBODY who will make a lovely (if small) rug.
This horrible bastard squirrel has crossed me once too often. I now have a tiny furry nemesis, and an ongoing war that feels like it'll inevitably go fully roadrunner and coyote.
