I miss my Kodiak sooo much. He’s still living his best life out in the country with his new sister Toast, a black lab. I had to give him up due to health issues and not being able to give him the exercise he needed. I’m so grateful for the family that adopted him. But I miss him terribly. 😥

I baked gluten free Peppermint Cookies. They are a Mennonite tradition for Christmas. The magic ingredient is baking ammonia. It’s an old ingredient from Europe. Difficult to find. Luckily we have a few Ukrainian shops that carry it but you have to buy it early as they run out quickly.

My Kodiak can’t walk over a foo threshold. I ended up putting a mat over it so he could walk over it.

I didn’t know that. Spent a great week there with my daughter and her family.
