Popped to Dover to see the Saga Spirit of Discovery, which is off today (my birthday!) on a 14 day cruise round Iceland, and I'm off to spend some of the six grand (each!) I've saved by not being on it... 😂💰💰💰💰💰💰

AMAZING NEWS!! @sjwatson.bsky.social was SO gracious when I fawned over him at my first #IcelandNoir when I realised the fun & friendly guy sat chatting in Kjarval was the author who made me SO TENSE halfway thru #BeforeIGoToSleep that I didn't know what to do with myself! Can't wait for the sequel!

After a scant 30yrs of driving past I spotted these #SaturdayStairs into a small triangle of forested land between an on-ramp & the motorway... Where do they go? Is there a secret tunnel to either side of the road? Today I ventured in & the answer is: a real close up view of the mway, that's it! 😂
