Happy Pride 2026! A friend invited me to march, and I was very happy to. It's important to stand for LGBTQ+ rights. I'm so happy I can make video games and tell stories that resonate with other LGBTQ+ people. Remember to accept yourself, and accept others for who we all are.
Nintendo announced during Pride Month that I'll be called "fairy boy" once again.
Their special sisterhood mixed with believable conflict from midlife struggles makes for a perfectly structured script. If you watched Practical Magic and loved it, but noticed its flaws, The Witches Of Eastwick has that extra magic and more heightened tone. Please give it a watch!
Gay icons Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer are seduced by Jack Nicholson as the devil in a small New England town. He—and his eyebrows—were born to play this role. Like Death Becomes Her, it's a horror-comedy with sharp dialogue from a female perspective, but with relatable characters.
With young people discovering the wonderful film, Death Becomes Her, giving it a resurgence in popularity, I hope more camp-adjacent films that raised queer gen Xers and millennials will see some love—whether the camp was intended or not.) For just that, I recommend The Witches Of Eastwick.
I beat Resident Evil 7 biohazard, and nearly a decade later, it's still one of my least favorite games in the series. I like the setting, narrative design, and sub-villains. I found the level design middling. I really disliked all the protagonists, main villain, story (including dlc), and tone.
If you'd like to understand who I am as a person, here is my personality distilled: The strings in Yasunori Mitsuda's "Land of Morytha" from Xenoblade 2 always remind me of various pieces from Alan Silvestri's original score for Death Becomes Her, specifically "Loving You" and "A Touch of Magic."
I started Mario & Luigi Brothership because I needed a relaxing RPG without much reading. Please appreciate the incredible presentation in the video below. The colors, animations, and sounds effects are excellent! Everything is full of personality. All the workers should be proud of this A+ work.
I did buy this bag at Capcom's Ikebukuro shop just two months ago, so having merch in circulation is a good sign! (Much better than the Breath Of Fire series... 😭) But yeah, so accurate... keep those posts coming!
This weekend was spent admiring flowers, appreciating art, and supporting peace. 土日は花見に芸術鑑賞、 そして反トランプ抗議デモの応援 充実した週末だったわ No War, No Kings
I spent a few hours building these six pikmin-in-a-bottle miniatures. I'm happy with how they turned out. 先月買ったピクミンのテラリウムコレクションを 今さら全種類作っている私😅🥀
I watched Burnt Offerings (1976) last night. Loved all the uncomfortable close-ups in the film. It wasn't a knockout, but it gave me a sickly feeling throughout the runtime. I bet if you ate some bad chicken, then put on Burnt Offerings and let the journey take you, that's the ideal experience.
My condolences to all the employees who raised this storyline and these images as a risk, but were disregarded multiple times. The hollow "I told you so" victory is never gratifying.
I visited the PaRappa the Rapper pop-up in Ikebukuro recently, and I am now a cartoon character in my downtime. My ironic throwback catchphrase is, "That's phat!"
Xenosaga Episode I launched in Japan on this day in 2002. The series' worldbuilding and epic storytelling continues to inspire me and my efforts in my career, just as if it had released today. In selfish pride, I'm reposting my 2023 thigh tattoo of Shion & KOS-MOS by @deweymonn.bsky.social.
This saved me for about 60 seconds. but that's done now. I've finished it.
I know I appear in many video games because I'm such a muse, but they usually do me the legal courtesy of changing my name. Wizardry Variants Daphne is too blatant here. Might have to sue.
Horror games really lost something when tank controls disappeared. Every camera cut in REmake is reminiscent of horror from the '70s and '80s. Considering the awful cinematography in films lately, I crave these wide, slow, establishing shots that draw my eye to multiple places in any given frame.
Man, that sucked. Game sure deserves a remake/full reimagining. Waaay too many problems in every aspect—pacing, design, balance, character writing, art direction, etc. I hope it does get a remake. Then I guess that leads into the inevitable and unnecessary RE5make. 😑
