41) Halo: Combat Evolved (2001) Replay. Heroic. Mostly enjoyable still, but pretty much everything in the back half starting with The Library is a massive downgrade. A borderline slog. I can't believe I ever defended that mission. At least you get to use the shotgun a ton once The Flood show up.
40) Halo 3: ODST (2009) Replay. Heroic. The streets of New Mombasa are as much of a vibe to wander as ever, but the mission and encounter design lacks. Brutes just aren't as fun to fight as Elites, I feel. Still, something about ODST has always felt greater than the sum of its parts.
World's most sane Xenoblade Chronicles X player. I swam around the entire biome because an NPC said I should be able to.
39) The Amazing Digital Circus (2026) I originally had no plans to watch this so I willingly walked into spoilers headfirst the past two weeks, which may have affected my enjoyment. No brainworms here, sadly. The last 2 episodes got hooked me good, at least. I really liked Kinger and Zooble, too.
38) Supergirl (2026) Currently the weakest link in the new James Gunn-led DC, but not terrible either. Way too many needle drops and they don't work like they do in a Gunn directed film. Looking forward to seeing more of Momoa's Lobo later, because he really didn't need to be here.
Platinum 154 Pragmata Never thought I'd have a modern Capcom platinum since I'm not into speedruns or challenge runs much, but it still made me work for it because the post-game and Lunatic difficulty are no joke. Just no pressure to do things fast. 32 hours total, about 11 on the Lunatic replay.
37) Pragmata (2026) Prag-mat-uh. Pretty good time. The mix of hacking and shooting works well, and I love exploring a good derelict space facility. The training simulator is mostly a fun diversion, too, but I'll skip it if I replay this. Still, if EA ain't making Dead Space, Capcom'll do fine.
36) Angel Season 2 (2001) Big upgrade from season 1. The Darla arc goes some dark places and the 3 part season finale is excellent. Really, this is basically as good as one of the peak Buffy seasons. Pretty much everyone gets to shine here, and we are introduced to Lorne in a major recurring role.
Platinum 153, Possessor(s) One of the most annoying Metroidvania completions, thankfully it doesn't require true 100% but despite that it took me an extra 5 hours of cleanup due to no tracking of any sort for things you already found and a highly annoying lobster collection to finish.
35) Possessor(s) (2025) A beautiful yet mediocre Metroidvania that desperately needed more ability gating early on as you can wander into countless dead ends. Picks up a bit once you have some momentum and direction, especially in the character writing, though you need some patience to get there.
34) Resident Evil Requiem (2026) I liked this more before leaving the care center, but still fucked with it overall. Shocked that I found the Grace bits more enjoyable, given my preference for action-horror. Ultimately it was more fun for me to sneak around her levels than blast through Leon's.
33) Angel Season 1 (2000) Compared to Buffy, Angel has more of a case-of-the-week police procedural vibe to it which gives it a more grounded tone that works for the character. Can't wait for the cast to start expanding, though. Cordelia's growth is fun to watch, a frequent highlight of the season.
Doing that literally right now and was just flashbanged by the guy from the PS3 Kevin Butler ad campaign
32) Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 (2026) Rivalry system made this a pretty intense PvP season, with a focus on always hunting someone else across the map. Had a pretty great time, loving the loot pool and map. This marks a 5 year streak of battle passes for me, as I started in Chapter 2 Season 6.
