I’ve been quiet and distant a lot lately because I’m just really sad and don’t have a lot of energy. Cottonball passing away was a chapter of my life ending, in all the meanings of that phrase. 😢 It’s been harder to internalize than even I could have predicted. Gem has been keeping me company. 💕
I picked up Cottonballs ashes today. ❤️🩹😭 I want to further reiterate how humbled & appreciative I am of everyone who donated, reskeeted the fundraiser, and sent me kind messages. Having this token of him makes my heart less heavy, the tears less bitter, the loneliness easier to bear. Thank you.
Y’all can blame @gazbanggoblin.bsky.social for the next game I’ll be streaming. I’ve been watching him play Outlaws recently and it looks really fun, so I nabbed it on sale. You can also blame @pankraru.bsky.social and friends for their ongoing TTRPG Star Wars streams giving me the itch.
And that is why I adore my HAF XB EVO case and would weep if I had to get one of these modern cases.

I’ll be making a call to the local vet in a few hours to ask some hard questions and hear some harder answers. My best mate, Cottonball, is deteriorating quickly over these last few months. He’s eighteen this year! But I need to do what’s best for him, I owe him that after all those years of love.
My Cottonball is eighteen years old this year, and I’ve known him for sixteen of those years; I’ve been directly responsible for him for the last six. He’s been with me almost half of my adult life. My best friend. Please give Dakota an extra head pat for me.
