For our 6 year anniversary, we are seeing the Odyssey on 70 mm! So happy to be back at the Oriental in MKE, such a great theatre! @mkefilm.bsky.social @dannyvillanuevajr.bsky.social
I’m so excited, we got our shirts today! I think they turned out really good. And you could get one too! Anyone who contributes at least $100 to our fundraiser for the Winter Dance Party historical mural gets a shirt and this is it! 🖤🎸 www.gofundme.com/f/preserve-k...
Listened to some great children’s authors today and it’s always inspiring to hear people who followed their passions and have made a difference.
Well I made it to #Ci2026, just in time for lunch bc I’m starving and they have no vegan option. Okay… guess I’m not eating. Went to get some coffee, don’t even have an alternative milk, only skim. I asked someone and they said no. Nothing else. lol. Starting off strong.
If you like kitties, please help support my fundraiser to raise money for the kittens we rescued. Vet bills and food is no joke and funds are very tight already. 🐱🐱🐱 www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-ca...
Kitten update: we are going to keep them to foster them and get them ready for adoption in a couple months. They have a vet appointment soon. Slightly worried about costs. Would it be weird to start a fund for kitten vet bills? I hate asking ppl for money. But look at these faces 🥹😍 Happy Caturday!
Kitten spam until they go to the Humane Society today 😭 idk when we will get them back. Hopefully not too long. They already love me 🖤
Danny rescued 3 kittens today. They are now washed and fed and sleeping in my bathtub. At one point they were at my work and the authors from the author event got to look at them. What a day.
Chopped my hair yesterday and I feel like I lost 5 lbs of hair, such a freeing feeling. 💇♀️
I really can’t wait for our release party! It’s going to be so much fun! Come celebrate with us 🎉 More information and to rsvp here: withfriends.co/event/276939... #zines
Behold, my beautiful funfetti skull-shaped birthday cake, bc I am an adult. 3️⃣7️⃣
With how crazy life has been, I forgot that I hit my 6 years sober milestone last week. Really proud of myself. What started as trying to see if i could be sober for a month, turned into 6 years. And no; it hasn’t been just as easy as that.
Let’s start with this guy. He just hangs out in our basement and has been featured in numerous haunted doll shorts.
This is why I created Kenozia. This is why I spend all of my free time working on this. This is what drives me. A sense of community, a love for the arts. Someone tagged my work in a check in and used something I said as a quote and then this thank you I just got. It means everything. 🥹
First Kenozia release party was amazing. So touched at how many people came out to support the zine. In times like these, community makes the difference. 🖤
Dog sat for one of my close friends yesterday, even though I’m still sick. She had surprised me with a little care basket 🥹. It really made my day. And I got plenty of dog snuggles in too.
Okay. It’s as good as I can do in the time frame allotted and working with the photo I got. I really hope she likes it 😭
A sneak peak at the linocut prints I made for the cover of the winter issue of Kenozia. I carve each design out from a rubber block. Every cover has been made with this method so far and I am really enjoying it.
Our recovery a little bit, as much as one can when you don’t know each other. But it was just nice to connect with someone. The biggest thing with eating disorders is that they tend to be private and shameful, but talking about them does help. I’m grateful for this lil tattoo and what it means 🖤
My StoryGraph 2025 wrapped is here. I did not hit my goal of 100 books this year, but honestly, I’m kind of sick of this strange competition to read as many books as you can, I think I’d rather enjoy what I read and just read what I can, when I can. Excited for what I read next year 📚
Built the new cat tower today, June and Judy had to oversee the process to make sure it was up to snuff for them. #catmas
