In 1987, Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes visited Halifax, NS for a Night of Heavyweights fight event and made a point to visit the Black United Front. "As Murad Muhammad said, 'Ali would never leave any town without touching based with the Black community.' Nor would Larry Holmes."
