I noticed the top of this old clay / stoneware bottle poking out of soft clay at low tide on a beach a few years back.. With a rewarding slurp sound, I eased it from its home of many decades beneath the sea. #TidesOutTuesday #IsleOfWight #GingerBeer

It's part of a beautiful old coastal path that due to landslips at either end, is no longer possible to walk through. It's rarely visited now as path is closed. We ventured down to see an old stone known as the 'wishing seat' that still remains. Victorian photo below, and a snap taken last weekend.
