One of the most mesmerizing birds to stumble upon in the #grassland. This sandhill crane was a total surprise and was also shockingly comfortable with me sitting down and hanging out for a while.

It's impossible not to love nudibranchs and this red sponge dorid looked particularly adorable as it was scaling some kelp in a tide pool.
Ok, we're getting back to work, but we hope you make time to head to the beach this week at low tide. Puget Sound is full of magic to explore. 💕
There are endless cool crabs at low tide, but the porcelain/flat top crabs are a personal fave.
But. I mean. Octopuses are undeniably so cool, too. This one was at Constellation Park in West Seattle.
We know an octopus is the crown jewel of the tide pool finds, but our hearts get nearly as excited about moon snails. Sara found this behemoth at Picnic Point in Edmonds.

Everyone’s favorite orca, T63/Chainsaw, is hanging out by Campbell River today. We’re attempting to summon him south by printing him about a million times. TBD on the results. 👀
