honorable shoutouts to backrooms, which i really enjoyed but couldn't justify putting over citizen kane, and twin peaks: the return, which is a season of tv.

probably the best thing i can say about this is that it feels like it exists in the same world as michael mann's THE KEEP
i need everybody to watch this movie. i cant really say much better than my review already has but it's just some of the coolest shit of all time. hr giger worked on it and thats like a footnote in all the things happening here.

theres a second image of the real location and its even more confusing. man, what is this. how on earth is this the same place.
its actually kinda nuts how much the original backrooms image does not look like a real space built by a human. why are there so many different wallpapers? why is there that wall jutting out but not touching the ceiling? did the photographer need to do a slight dutch angle? how is it SO YELLOW?
