This is one I found on Tanaka's old Twitter. I sometimes wonder if it would be better, even if I like the simplicity of the final version.
Maaaan, I guess these were sold as reproductions at the Great Berserk Exhibition for maybe 10 bucks a pop and they are too damn cool. Sadly, now they litter ebay for no less than 80~150USD BEFORE shipping...
It actually did get an HG in 2012! Retail, too, since P-Bandais were still not as flagrantly absorbing new releases then.
I'm tired, boss. Tired of food dreamed up by computers. Tired of hallucinations of cuisine by something that can never understand textures, tastes, or ingredients. Free me from this simulation.
Well, glad I only got the 3 tankobon volumes now because I completely spaced these existed Nevermind on those dust jackets now lol
By "here," I mean here in the states. The logo above is a custom made one trying to find something similar to the Japanese logo used until vol. 38.
I think I'm gonna make dust jackets for my Berserk manga as I pick them up (only got 3 volumes atm) if only because I LOATHE the font Dark Horse used for the logo here. (Also to make the backs more like the JP versions)
I rarely have the kind of downtime at work for anything like this, it's nice to have a light day for once.
These were the best I could find online, the Mk-II one being a far better res than the Turn-A one.
This was actually my second one lol This one I modded a bit to improve some of the issues with the kits age, including replacing the shoulder thrusters, using an EW neck polycap, and adding a mounting point for a stand.
I think one thing most won't be prepared for is just how big the Hydra is. It's easily the tallest AC unit.
The only rip I could ever find of the entire set was a group called NAOKI RAWS, which only posts the videos from the discs "as is," meaning no added audio or subs tracks. But they still went and did a bunch of stuff to the video, probably to de-bloat the files. It's pretty extra...
I need a sugar momma or financial inequality to even out or something man lol
Color charts for the first four characters are complete! I'm pretty happy with the variety I've found for them thus far, even though a few hues had to be compromised for limited on-hand markers. #oc #dualbalance #ocsky #art
On to pof refining her youthful face and expressions, her outfit is much more refined thant before, and her staff, Gatha, is complex as it is simplistic. #oc #dualbalance #ocsky #art
Update for easily my favorite design, Rhapsody, the timid mage. #oc #dualbalance #ocsky #art
I finally found something in-person that re-awoke an old hard regret from years ago. The original US release .hack quadrilogy for PS2. Each volume under $100 each... except Quarantine. Nearly $400 on its own...
I'd love to find another G40 for a good price so I can hopefully not botch the antenna like I did my current one...
I had changed her design considerably from her last iteration, which had a stronger allure to it. I instead wanted something more fitting of a mayoral or even matron figure. Her colors have also changed completely, but that will be unveiled later...
Another one down, it's the head of Terra's hometown and eclectic historian, Lady Requiem. #oc #dualbalance #ocsky #art
Probably misreading this little note on Square-Enix's Press Release for IV and the collection
I think it'd be cool (though probably not marketable) to see you do these for Xenogears' mechs. Probably not at all what you're asking, but it'd be remiss to not throw it out there
