La Push today. Long drive, but worth it when you get there!

Highway 3 shut down in Kitsap county, WA

They closed the narrows bridge and I'm stuck on the Tacoma side. Been here an hour so far and there's at least 2 people walking around on the very top of the westbound bridge

Back at Neah Bay today. Same view just in the middle of a cloud

As long as you add whipped cream pie hits all four food groups 😂 This one's more of an experiment and it's taking too much attention for today so I'm starting another for the mindless aspect

An orange round knitting loom mid hat. There's two different yarns ones a solid navy blue and the other is a striped yarn that's lighter tri-tone blue. This one is turning out nice but taking a while because I just learned what a slip-stich is and decided to do it on every peg for the first and last time ever

Looking good Seiku Wa

Calm saltwater with a jetty pointing out from the left. There's about 30 pilings evenly spaced that accommodate fishing boats during peak season. Plenty of clouds in the distance but clear sky above them. On the beach at your feet are brushes beach grasses and a large rock

From the bucket

A view looking down on a road from as high as I could get the bucket truck. The trees on the left are still green. Across the road is salt water but it's low tide so it looks like a river. The main tree on the waters edge is midway thru its leaves turning with yellow and brown. Cloudy grey overcast overhead. Perfect.

Where the stream meets the salt. A muddy marsh looking land at low tide. Lots of trees in the distance and from here the overhead power lines are about ten feet below you

One more from yesterday because when you drive by Lake Crescent, you stop and pee in Lake Crescent

The lake with a dead tree, bare branches reaching out from the water. Not quite mountains but more than hills across the lake covered in evergreen. Up close and in your face is leaves that were very recently all green. They've now started to turn brown at the tips of each. Fall is certainly upon us

The job sites this week have been awesome

The new Elwha river bridge spanning the Elwha river. Very shallow water about 50-60 yards across. River rocks under my boots and a manmade logjam in the distant background with plenty of evergreen trees

The Elwha river flowing away with the colors of fall taking over the trees across the water. Large river rocks under foot and the base of a small mountain. Very small maybe more of a hill but people in Pennsylvania would consider them enormous. Because Pennsylvania.

A small portion of the group of elk at a rural intersection. Lots of colorful trees and a large grass shoulder of the road. Maybe I should have said herd. I should look that up. Anyway Love you guys!
