I got Dungeon of the Rogue Daemon working on my real C64 using an ethernet cartridge. We could play together, and it’s easier on an Ultimate or an emulator. He has other networkable C64 games, but this one is the most interesting to me. Lemme know if you wanna try to connect! schema64.itch.io/rogue

Got tired of all the recent macOS drive icons, so I redecorated, taking inspiration from the days before OS X. Some lovely being has created a set of OS 9 drive icons for modern macOS, and with a few customizations, I have implemented them on my own desktop.

A game that's made worse by voice acting. This one is also loses some of its charm in VGA. And with the Roland MT-32. Stick with Amiga or Atari ST or EGA / Adlib or Tandy graphics and sound.
Last night I saw these two live. Didn't know they were in town or even touring, and a friend called to say they had an extra ticket. Loads of fun and laughter, and the time flew right by! International treasures, both.

Microprose is the undisputed king, then Emlyn Hughes, then the Italian version thereof, then a load of manager games until you get to the original C= release. Basically, with 4 pages of football games, only 2!! action-oriented ones managed to surpass the original C= game over the life of the system.
