Butler County Common Pleas Judge John Scialabba had the honor of swearing in Butler County's Sheriff as the new Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association President yesterday.

Earlier this week, interns from the Commonwealth Court attended Protection from Abuse (PFA) and Arraignment Night Court in Philadelphia where they learned about the PFA process, observed arraignments, and spoke with President Judge T. Francis Shields.

On June 23, the Commonwealth Court was delighted to host summer interns from the First Judicial District for lunch and a panel discussion. Judge Dumas, Judge Wojcik, and Judge Tsai talked about our Court’s unique jurisdiction over administrative and government law

Justice Mundy's chambers are a little more colorful thanks to entries from this year's coloring contest. The submissions were also featured at the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania Conference, where judges from across the state admired and enjoyed the creativity.

Yesterday, Pa. Supreme Court Justice P. Kevin Brobson attended the 17th Commencement Ceremony of the Columbia/Montour Counties Treatment Court programs as the keynote speaker where he gave an inspirational speech to the graduates and wished them well in their futures.

Representatives from the Judicial Ethics Advisory Board and the Judicial Conduct Board recently presented at the Municipal Court of Philadelphia Education Conference. The session provided judges with insight into the complaint process, reinforcing accountability and transparency.
