We had five strong women protesting in Orrstown today. Female passers-by slowed their vehicles and gave us a thumbs up and positive verbal feedback. As women we are angry about the current state of the country. ⬇️

Today’s Bridge Brigade was quite well received by most of the passersby! Our sign over 81 was “CHANGING YOUR MIND IS BRAVE”. Lots of horn honking from cars and big trucks! On 997, our signs varied covering a myriad of abuses by this administration. ⬇️

PA is one of just eight states nationwide with closed Primary Elections. State Rep. Jared Solomon, D-Philadelphia, has sponsored House Bill 280 that would allow Independent voters to participate in PA’s primary elections. His proposal has over two dozen Dem co-sponsors and one Rep backing it. ⬇️

During last night’s reorganization meeting of the Franklin County Democratic Committee, the members elected Janet McKeithan-Janifer as Chair.  The committee also elected Don Palesky as first vice chair, Sierra Jordan as second vice chair, Sean Scott as treasurer, and Deb Martinez as secretary. ⬇️
