Growing up in the Space Shuttle era I always get nervous seeing manned launches. While not as cool as seeing a launch, I did get to see Atlantis land at Edwards Air Force Base on December 1, 1991 as STS-44. The sonic boom as it entered the atmosphere was deafening. #nasa #spaceshuttle #atlantis
