Trees, from 2017 i think. A2. on paper. Three jolly, red trees in a row; green leaves above and yellow fruits! In the undergrowth are green and blue flowers.

After my pre-diploma at art college, i decided to do a sculpture BA. I felt totally lost, and spent much of my time wandering the second hand shops buying old clothes. then they started to emerge...woven 1960s dresses on a large painter's frame, abandoned in the studio. Some stitched into frames.
Found this today. I know - Shell - but it's a nice picture. Clifford and Rosemary Ellis - just a page from a book of posters.
It was once my favourite field, painted often. Now it is torn to pieces, and a motorway planned.
About four years ago, this beautiful hedgerow sprang up.The flowers hadn't been there before. It bloomed gloriously for one summer, and has never shown itself again. I wondered if it was an old cottage garden; the property gone. #flowers #cottagegarden #once #foxgloves #poppies #peonies
