Finally got my Black Grail CE in #FGO up to lv.100! It took me all these years since I started in 2018 to MLB it... now it's maxed. I only have 2 of them max (the other was KScope since that was MLB'd first). Working on Filming next. 3 more levels!

This read is so fcking disturbing omfg. This should be life in prison or worse, but the ones at fault are probably yukking it up & laughing about it.

Unfortunately, the disoriented crew ran straight into the side of a mountain they likely never saw, resulting in the loss of every life on board. It’s the first known instance where military GPS jamming played a role in downing a civilian plane in US airspace. Reported incidents of GPS jamming within the continental US have skyrocketed in recent years. According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the number of GPS interference events went from four in 2020 to 50 in 2024, and 40 across 2025.
After the initial publication of this piece, a spokesperson for the US Army provided a statement in response.
“The Army is aware of the release of the NTSB’s preliminary report into the crash of a civilian medical evacuation flight on May 14 in the vicinity of Ruidoso, New Mexico,” it read. “As the incident remains under investigation, we cannot comment at this time.”

Seeing both Kent & Ottawa counties going for El-Sayed... wow. For context, I grew up & went through 2nd to 8th grade living in Kent county during the 80s/1990 as an Asian-American, being told to go back to where I came from on a daily basis.

This racist spokesperson are the kind of bigoted white people I grew up with. Nearly every day during primary school, my peers would chant "go back to where you came from" ...IN THE 80s... and it's still happening. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will this sort of behavior ever be punished?

Abigail Jackson, a White House spokeswoman, declined repeated requests for comment on the president’s posts. Instead, she defended his previous statements about Somali schoolchildren burdening Minnesota’s public schools.

“President Trump is right,” Ms. Jackson said. “Aliens who come to our country, complain about how much they hate America, fail to contribute to our economy, rip off Americans and refuse to assimilate into our society should not be here. And nothing about that is racist.”

In January, a man named David Streever sent a scathing email to the acting director of ICE after two demonstrators were shot to death in Minneapolis. He called the director a “monstrous human being” and compared him to a Nazi.

In June, federal agents showed up at his door in Rochester, N.Y., serving his wife a written warning that his email might have constituted an illegal threat. Two days later, another agent tried to intercept him at a New York City hotel where he and his daughter were staying, according to a lawsuit.

Yesterday, a free-speech watchdog sued the Trump administration, arguing that the agents’ actions amounted to intimidation and unconstitutional retaliation for protected speech.

“When you have federal agents showing up at your home, confronting your wife, tracking you to a hotel with your daughter, that’s more than enough to send the message that you should shut up,” one of the lawyers said.

The Trump administration is making it easier to own and use a gun. It is rolling back more than three dozen gun regulations, and its changes are expected to:

Restore gun rights to some people with mental illness

Abandon a crackdown on illegal sales

Loosen oversight of private weapon transactions.

These moves aren’t a surprise. President Trump promised before the 2024 election to be “the best friend gun owners have ever had in the White House.” Now, he is effectively restoring the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to how it operated in his first administration. (Joe Biden signed new gun regulations after a series of mass shootings, and Trump is reversing [them.)]

I think I overdid it yesterday re-potting my dracaena. It was so utterly root-bound & I repotted just last year! I couldn't sleep last night due to pain. It's that level of pain that sleep cannot help. I hate having chronic issues. 1) how it started 2) got it out 3) soil cleanup 4) all done

The outcome on Tuesday could pose particular problems for Mr. Jeffries, the New Yorker in line to become speaker if Democrats reclaim control of the House this year. Ms. Valdez and Ms. Avila Chevalier have not committed to supporting Mr. Jeffries’s leadership bid and could become persistent thorns in his side.

Democrats aligned with Mr. Jeffries, who fought hard to defeat Ms. Avila Chevalier, have privately raised concerns about her victory in particular. They fear that Republicans will weaponize a trove of her inflammatory old social media posts, including her saying that “all deportations are wrong” and using crude language about Kamala Harris, against more moderate Democrats running in swing districts that will decide the fate of the House this fall.

Mr. Jeffries repeatedly sidestepped the issue during an interview on NY1 Tuesday night as the results came in. Others were less reluctant to register concerns.

I have never lived in NY nor know much of what is what in that state outside of various articles, but honestly the thing that made me side-eye the WFP was that they went all in & endorsed the nazi in Maine. Sure, his opponent is worse but they had plenty of time to find another better person.

Mr. Mamdani’s aggressive interventions were not without collateral damage. His positions on some of the races put him at odds with the Working Families Party, prominent Black and Latino Democrats, major labor unions and members of the City Council, all of whom had supported his campaign for mayor and are now involved in his governing agenda.

He infuriated Ms. Velázquez, Mr. Mamdani’s first supporter in Congress, who believed the mayor should have deferred to her wishes about a successor. She came to accuse the D.S.A. in particular of trying to erase the contributions she and other progressives had made to pushing the city leftward for decades.

Others, including Representative Hakeem Jeffries, the House Democratic leader, were even more upset when Mr. Mamdani decided in May to endorse Ms. Avila Chevalier, a democratic socialist activist and Ph.D. student, and break with Mr. Espaillat.

Thank you captain obvious (NYT)! Having been within CENTIMETERS of being smashed by a huge tall truck that was TURNING LEFT while I was crossing on a WALK SIGNAL... if that driver didn't have a screaming paasenger, I would have been killed. I was literally starring into their grill at 4'11".

The A-pillar on the driver’s side, and my cartoonishly large side mirror, combine to create a problematic blind zone during left turns. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found last year that vehicles like mine were substantially more likely to hit pedestrians when turning left.

The newer flower stem bloomed tonight! Well, the bottom half did. The top will probably bloom tomorrow or something. 2nd pic is comparing older already-bloomed branch to newer bloomed branch! I really need to re-pot this one soon. Replace the stinky soil mix w/new rosy biochar that smells better!

Oops, I bought it 3 years ago (May 29, 2023). This is what it looked like when I brought it home. It's gone through a lot since I didn't know what I was doing and nearly killed it by over-watering. :(

The original pilea peperomioide I purchased in May 2023 that produced all of the ones seen in the previous/first post!

Finally repotted my chinese money plant (pilea peperomioide) named Gamba in its new terracotta pot I bought about a month ago! I hope it'll be happier in here rather than all split up. All of this came from the same little guy I bought about 4 years ago!

This 20° temp change in the forecast in only a day where I am is... very disconcerting... alongside reading that the arctic is also dealing with wildfires. This year is already a hot one & barely June. This is only going to continue getting worse. Fck data centers & other environmental abuses! 😡
